Spring and summer! Who doesn't like the warm season, when you want to be outdoors, spend time on picnics or barbecuing with friends. Often, such meetings are accompanied by enjoying various alcoholic beverages: beer, aromatic wine or delicious drinks. Life, however, is not fair and our group often includes people who cannot drink alcohol: either they are drivers, their health does not allow them to do so, or they simply avoid alcohol.

Condemned to watching?

Are abstainers condemned to watch the others savor the taste of alcoholic beverages while themselves sadly sipping regular Coke, Tonic or sparkling water? Of course not!

Even without alcohol, you can prepare delicious drinks and cocktails that will please the palate, put you in a relaxing mood, and at the same time leave your senses in the right place. Today we propose a few recipes with Coca-Cola as the base ingredient!

Pomola

The creator of the idea is Łukasz from the blog "Confused". Pomola is a great idea for a refreshing summer drink based on Cola! What are we going to need?

  • Tall glasses
  • A few ice cubes
  • Cold Coca-Cola
  • 30 ml of lime squeezed juice
  • 10 ml of grenadine

If we already have everything, preparation is very easy! Just throw ice cubes into a glass, make up with ¾ Cola, then add grenadine, lime juice, mix and enjoy the taste. For visual effects, you can decorate the drink with a cocktail icing and attach a straw.

Mickey Mouse

Here is the second, slightly more fanciful idea of Mr. Łukasz. Dedicated to those who do not count calories consumed. What ingredients do we need to have?

  • Tall glass
  • Cold Cola
  • Scoop of ice cream (taste to your taste)
  • Whipped cream
  • Grated chocolate
  • A straw and a teaspoon

Preparation is also not difficult! Pour cold Cola (3/4 volume) into the glass and place a scoop of selected ice cream at the top. Then add whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings (unsaturated ones can also add cocktail cherries. The author added them in such a way that they looked like Mickey Mouse's ears - hence the name). Then you have to take a straw, a teaspoon and a cocktail, enjoying its unique taste!

Double Bublle

This is an idea for a quick drink that will appeal to lovers of carbonated drinks! What do we need:

  • Cold Cola (or potentially Pepsi)
  • 7up
  • Lemon juice
  • Orange slice
  • Ice cubes

First pour 7up - about 40 ml into a glass (preferably a tall one). Then put a slice of orange into the glass in such a way that it separates the poured 7upa from the other ingredients. Put ice cubes on the orange, and then pour lemon juice and cold Cola over them! Ready!

Lime minimalism

Something for minimalists who do not like to combine too much, but want to experience a slightly more interesting taste of the drink. Preparation is trivial as long as we prepare lime ice cubes in advance.

Ingredients:

  • Ice cube tray.
  • Lime juice
  • Coca-Cola or Pepsi

Juice the lime and place it in the ice cube molds. Freeze. After that, just throw these cubes into a glass of chilled Coca-Cola or Pepsi. Ready!

Alcohol-free Malibu

Love Malibu but can't afford alcohol? Make a version for the abstainer! What do you need to prepare?

  • A can of coconut milk
  • Chilled Coca-Cola
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime
    Optional:
  • Scoop of ice cream (coconut or cream)
  • Coconut shrims

Pour about 40-50 ml of canned coconut milk at the bottom of the glass (remember to shake it before opening). Throw in a few ice cubes and pour chilled Coca-Cola over the mixture. For decoration and a subtle aftertaste, you can put half a lime in the glass. Ready!

However, if you have an unsatisfied appetite, you can prepare a "grazing" version. You can add a scoop of ice cream (recommended coconut or cream flavor) to the prepared cocktail and sprinkle it with coconut shavings. It's a Malibu after all, isn't it?
